No limits
Smart Projector Paint Contrast allows you to create a projectable surface with no size limitations and one that performs better than a regular roll-up projector screen. Due to the very low gain value of 0.15 at an angle of 140 degrees, Smart Projector Paint Contrast makes for high-quality presentations and movie nights. See the attached black and white photo to highlight the difference that higher contrast makes. This improved distinction between black and white makes colours so much more vivid and true-to-life. High-brightness projectors can still use ‘eco’ modes in darkened rooms, extending lamp life.
Some surfaces need a primer to prepare your surface and guarantee the best projection wall possible. Please note: the smoothness of the wall and projector resolution can affect product performance. Sand your surface smooth first if it’s not and be sure to use a primer or sealer if your wall is not pre-painted. Check out the application guide here for more information. Coverage is 6m2 per pack, so one pack will cover an impressive 140″ (diagonal) area.
Cost saving
A very large fixed or retractable projection screen often seems irrationally expensive compared to 2 smaller ones with equivalent area: not so our projection wall paint. The larger your surface is the more you can save. Save up to ¾ of the cost when choosing our product, compared to traditional projector screens in the same size besides getting a high quality surface. A paint pot of course is also much easier shipped and not easily damaged. Choose this space and cost saving alternative to add an unassuming grey projection surface that will simply blend in with your other walls when not in use.
You may have noticed we stock two types of Smart Projector Paint and ask what’s the difference between the regular Smart Projector Paint Pro and the Contrast version? Smart Projector Paint Pro has a much higher gain value of 1.1 at a viewing angle of 140 degrees. This means it reflects more light than Smart Projector Paint Contrast for a brighter image. That allows you to project in locations with more ambient light.
